This Post is all about how to make Spicy Potato Fry Sidedish with the ingredients to be added and step by step making. It is very useful for beginners and bachelors. It is the perfect vegetarian side dish for various rice products.
Step 1: Take 3 potatoes and peel the skin and cut them into medium-sized pieces. Then, cover the raw potatoes with water to stop them from turning brown.
Step 2: Heat 3 tbsp. of oil in a pan, add ¼ tsp mustard seeds once you hear the popping sound add 1 tsp of urad dal (split black gram) and also add 1 tsp of fennel seeds and then add some curry leaves and turmeric powder
Step 3: Add the cubed potatoes (drain the water completely) mix well, also add required salt and 2 tsp chilli powder and roast it until the potatoes are fully cooked
Now our potatoes are nicely roasted. Since we have cut them into medium-sized pieces they didn’t take much time to cook.
Note: You can also boil the potatoes and then add to reduce the cooking time, but this way of making keeps the potatoes crispier. 🙂
